United Way “Great Pumpkin” 5K Run/Walk

THE ” GREAT PUMPKIN” 5K RUN/WALK is back for it’s sixth season! Enjoy the autumn weather by running or walking along the beautiful Kent State Trumbull Campus on a crisp, fall morning, while helping raise funds for United Way of Trumbull County.

RUNNERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME IN COSTUME! Best costume awards will be presented. Medals will also be presented to the top three 5K over-all finishers and to the top three 5K finishers in each age division (male and female). Age divisions are as follows: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. Race day registration and packet pickups are available from 7:30-8:30 am the morning of the race in the Technology Building. FREE event t-shirt to the first 150 5K registrants.

IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING the 5K, enjoy our first ever MASCOT Race followed by the Kids’ 50 Yard Dash!

* 5K Preregistration: $20 (on or before 10/26)
* 5K Door Price:$25
* Kids’ 50 Yard Dash: FREE (kids 12 and under)

AFTER THE RACES, kids will enjoy our FREE indoor TRICK-OR-TREAT beginning at 11 am in the Classroom Building.

HALLOWEEN STORY TIME will be provided by both Kent State and Warren-Trumull Libraries for kids 10 and under beginning at 11:15 am, and held every 30 minutes through 1 p.m. Allow our MASCOTS to lead the way!!!

HOT APPLE CIDER and DONUTS will also be available in the Cafe’ for purchase.
